Causes for the Rust of Rebar Coupler

The raw material of rebar coupler is No. 45 carbon structural steel, which determines the possibility of rust if the rebar coupler encounters water. Therefore, rust prevention is an important link in the production process of rebar splice at ADTO factory. 

1. The cutting fluid will be used in the tapping process of rebar coupler reproduction. Cutting fluid is water-soluble oil and has a certain function of rust removal and rust prevention. If the cutting fluid is of inferior quality with low concentration, it will make the rebar coupler easy to rust and hard to store.

2. The rebar connection coupler packing bag is attached film woven bag. If the quality of the woven bag is not good and the seal is not strict, it will also make the mechanical splice rust.

3. If the packing bag is damaged due to improper transportation and caught in rain and dampness, the rebar coupler will rust.

4. In the process of storage, if the rebar coupler is in a humid environment, it is easy to rust if it lasts too long.

5. During the construction process, the steel bar connection sleeve will rust if it is exposed to the natural environment for a long time and meets extreme weather.
