Rebar coupler extrusion connection

The extrusion connection of ribbed steel bar sleeve is to insert two steel bars to be connected into the sleeve, and squeeze the steel sleeve along the radial direction with the extrusion connection equipment, so that the deformed steel sleeve and the longitudinal and transverse ribs of the connected steel bar are produced. A method of connecting steel bars that are integrated as a whole.

This kind of joint has good quality stability and can be as strong as the base metal, but the operator has lots work, and sometimes it may cause the hydraulic oil contaminates the steel bar, and the composite cost is high. Rebar extrusion connection requires a minimum center-to-center spacing of 60mm.


Rebar taper thread sleeve connection

Rebar taper thread sleeve connection is a steel bar connection method in which the ends of two steel bars are made of tapered outer wires with a threading machine, and then tighten the two ends of the steel bars with a sleeve with a tapered inner wire.

The construction speed of steel tapered threaded sleeve is fast, and the comprehensive cost is low. In recent years, the pre-compression or forging process of the end of the steel bar has been added and the strong taper threaded joint such as the GK type steel bar has been developed, which can be as strong as the base metal.
